1. Field of the Invention
The present invention relates to an inkjet recording apparatus, an inkjet recording method, and an inkjet recording program which can prevent the clogging of an inkjet head.
2. Description of the Related Art
Inkjet recording apparatuses are well known as a type of image recording apparatus that records images on a recording medium. An inkjet recording apparatus is normally provided with a recording head that discharges ink to perform recording. Since the amount of ink discharged from the recording head is very small, ink droplets can be discharged very minutely. Accordingly, such an inkjet recording apparatus is extremely useful in various types of inkjet recording.
In general, an inkjet recording apparatus is also known as a printer or a printing apparatus. There are various types of inkjet recording apparatus, e.g., one that records on a recording medium such as paper, a sheet-shaped recording medium, cloth, and a film. There is also one that is made compact to be mounted on, e.g., a personal computer or a word processor.
A recording head that discharges ink is sometimes provided with ink discharge ports (nozzles) having a very small opening. For this reason, ink may dry in the ink discharge ports when the discharge ports are not used for a long period of time. If a discharge port becomes clogged with ink, the ink discharge direction of the discharge port becomes unstable, and the ink may be scattered in the air. In particular, the ink discharge ports are often in contact with an ink absorbing member such as an ink absorbing plate. Accordingly, ink that has dried in the ink discharge ports and ink that has been absorbed by the ink absorbing member may be scattered. Such ink may soil the body of a user or his/her clothes, or may cause an environmental pollution problem. For this reason, the ink discharge ports of the recording head are usually cleaned periodically.
When an inkjet recording apparatus is used in a quiet environment, the ink discharge ports are often cleaned without any particular trouble. However, if the inkjet recording apparatus is used in a noisy environment, it becomes difficult to clean the ink discharge ports by a user
